WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a science of reflection,
in which the elbow, arm and hand or
the knee, leg and foot reflect the body
organs, customs, habits and patterns.
In Reflexology various kinds of touch
are applied all the way from elbow or
knee height to finger or toe ends,
transforming dis-ease to sheer ease.

Reflexology is based on 2 principles:
* Reflection of the human bodies:
emotional, mental, physical, soul and
spirit in ones hands/feet.
* The human body heals each and
every part of itself, by itself:
emotional, mental, physical, soul and
spirit.

state of be-in-g.

In a Reflexology session a door opens
for one to exercise, practice and embody
a transformation of ill-tempered customs
to joyful, passion-full, peaceful whole-
hearted habits.

The common and simple explanation is:
When I press here, its influence manifests
itself there". Its efficiency and influence has
been proved by trial and error ever since
ancient times.

Reflexology practitioners' understanding
and opinion is that there exist connections
and streams from inner bodies (spirit, soul,
sense, emotion) to outer bodies (physical
and other realities); and that a block along a
channel is the root or the source of a dis-
ease.

Reflexology is deeply rooted and well-
known throughout our world since
ancient times. Egypt in the Middle East,
India, Tibet and China in the East and
Mid-Asia, and various tribes throughout
the Americas.
In Egypt evidence to Reflexology
practice and various uses go back to
2,330 B.C.
At the beginning of the 20th century
it was named "Reflexology", when it
became a combined healing practice,
side by side with scientific medicine.
In a number of locations in the U.S. and
elsewhere in the western world medical
doctors decided to apply and practice it.

Today Reflexology is applied and
used commonly and vastly; in South
Africa and Denmark, by law, citizens
enjoy Reflexology in a public health
clinic, hospital or institution.
